i can't imagine how fast time is flying.
about 2 years back, i never imagined the year 2010 would come so fast.
i prefer like 00 instead of 01. haha.
it seemed like a longlonglongggg time before 2010 would come.
but it has come. and its moving along preeettty fast.

its the end of term 1 already!
and i also thought upper sec would be in 2 years time.
a long time to go. and now, upper sec.
and next year sec 4, time slow down please!

i thought 13 sounds odd, i thought 14 was weird.
15 sounds OLD! oh no. i don't wanna be old!
and reading my old birthday cards. "happy 14th birthday"
i can't believe next would be "happy 15th birthday"

oh random thought: i love reading birthday, christmas, whatever cards again!

i guess its the question that's burning in my heart all this while too.
when will the time come.

but i guess i'm growing and learning each time.
change is a process, a very tedious process.
but with God backing you up, i guess it'll turn things around.

i'm learning things the new way, treating things differently.
i needa learn, to learn to put my trust in Him.
in good times, and in bad times.

i need to always keep in mind, that God is awesome,
and He will never ever ever fail.
we just need to trust.
and have faith that God will bring us through situations.

have been really tired this whole week.

and i had a busy week last week too because of
history fieldtrip, homework, and partly because of lit props.
haha, but this week was way much worst.

had parents-teachers meet yesterday. (till 9 plus going to 10)

because we had to queue for ms lim, haha for very longgg.

and i was sick the week before last week.
i had 7 days MC. apparently, i didn't have time to post about that too.
and blogger was having its problems.
trust me, 7 days MC may seem nice, but it is really exactly nice you know.

andand in one of the sundays. (i forgot when)
there was a bus accident.
like the woodlands bus was in front, and a car came cutting through.
and it smashed into the woodlands bus.
our bus stopped just in time, with a really sudden jerk.
well, it sent people flying to the floor. haha.
if we didn't stop in time, the car would be squashed both sides.
but surprisingly the woodlands bus was okay, except for the car.
it was smashed badly in the front. :/

and my camera died on me again! :(

last week was rushing homework and lots of other stuff.

Corporate Sunday Service

Corporate Sunday Service was real fun! Instead of going back after morning service, we stayed for like a fun-filled afternoon before heading on to evening service. (:

we arrived at like 10.30+ for morning service. after morning service, we went to eat, before going to the carnival. (: the games were mostly for kids. the youths were mostly helping out. because the coupons were for kids. haha. we had nerf wars! omgosh, i tell you its nice! super fun! we were like running around with our nerfs. hahaha. funfun! then time flew so fast. it was 3.45pm and i had to go back for usher duty. ): very fast. so we just hanged around till the service started. and instead of going dinner with the rest. i went home, and ate dinner with lorraine and the plp student and of course, with my family. and i left my notebook full of notes of sermons there! it was an object used for booking seats, and i forgot to take it home! but thank God that someone from my region found it! :D and i am going to get it back, so yay! :D

i don't greet july with open arms. haha. i still prefer june better. :D and how much i miss it. because of my youth camp posts. all the other events i want to blog about is like pushed back. so i am going to like combine all into one post. (summarized) haha! :D

this june holiday was awesome. like seriously awesome. had lots of bonding time with region through different events. youth camp, chalet, etc. thanks to the people who organised them. (: before youth camp, we even had shopping trips! :D and youth camp was fun!

after youth camp, we had a 2 day chalet thing. the first day, went quite late. but we just hang out, ate, play. the second day we played even more? haha. sorry, i am very lazy to type in detail. we played basketball, sang, guitar. ETC. haha! pictures speak for themselves. facebook :D haha. but one word FUN. is that like summarized enough? hahaha :D

we had like study trips too. after the chalet. it was sort of fruitful until alot people came. but it still good. and on friday we had our net outreaches. oh, there was a youth encounter too. i went to pass my brother his sleeping bag and almost got locked in. haha. and the next day, saturday. we planned to meet the encounter people for lunch and go to yishun building to study. but we ended up da bao-ing and eating there plus studying. (: sunday, we had evangelism class, so we went straight to CCK. and had NERF wars. seriously, NERF wars IS FUN! :D i was supposed to help out in the nursery, but because of my flu, i didn't. sadddd! ): on the bus home to yishun from CCK, there was this smelly smell in the bus! very! imagine bearing with it from CCK to yishun. can die one! in the end, i think it was like decomposed faeces. omgosh. GROSSness! eww!

the whole first week of school was not okay. haha, i don't like school. holidays are much more better and more fun. i couldn't like wake up early. and i didn't have enough sleep the whole week. tiring. very tired! during the week, had buffet with wendy, thank you. (: and study trips. (again) and study trips on like saturdays before the edge. (: yea. to sum it up. the last week of holidays was fun! aiya, the whole june holidays was fun! :D

on 30th June. it was Marcus Low's birthday! happy birthday! :D and it was so cool, they planned to buy a NERF gun for him, for his birthday. a long shot. it's like nice la. but so troublesome to bring around. but he can like spam shot people. haha. then we'll lose in NERF wars. but we mavericks are good too! haha! and i got my NERF! :D

okay, so many things just in one post. haha! yay, i feel satisfied and accomplished. i finally blogged! :D

youth camp - day 5!

as i was saying, i didn't feel too good. but still well enough to be like talking, laughing, moving around. you get it. (: and today is the last day of the camp! it's so sad when camp ends. ): and when the time flies so fast. but we have to face reality, don't we. haha. (:

we packed everything. and moved out of the hotel. and placed our luggages at the breakfast area. devotions. (: went for breakfast, feeling sick. but still manageable. (: and marcus low did the prank again! and this time, this guy was like turning non-stop looking for the lift that "arrived!" omgosh. then we stood there, controlling our laughters. we dragged our luggages to federal. and up slopes, through roads. haha rhymes! seriously, there was a slope that we had to walk up everytime we go to federal! super tiring, imagine with a luggage! ughh. but it was the last time we'd ever walk up that slope, unless church camp is held at the same place, but i doubt so. haha sounds so drama!

okay, back to the main point. we arrived at federal, placed our luggages by the side and sat in our groups. then we had like you know those kind of end-of-camp-debriefs. and we were told the winners of the games. and like some lucky draw thingy. and presentation of like good cheers, etc. we won best flag! :D yay! (shirgin's work (:) and they showed us the highlights of youth camp. (video) and we had testimony time too! of course! :D after everything. we arranged our luggages according to our buses. and we went to buy lunch to bring back to eat! i bought KFC. and the chessy wedges was pathetic. there was only 4 inside. -.-' we bought everything and went back to eat. took photos. and waited for our bus.

our bus came, we were the second last bus to leave i think? boarded the bus, i slept thorough the whole journey, not the whole. but like about 2-3hours. i skipped the first toilet break, and slept till the 2nd break. at like the break that we can buy food at some store. and went we got off the bus, the bus guy gave us some discount card. that i threw away. :x oops. i thought it was for some like beauty saloon. and i just threw it in the dustbin. and when i like queued up to buy food. the lady was quite surprised i didn't have a discount card. whoops :x then i slept again. not really sleep, but rest. i was feeling dizzy. thank God when i pass through the checkpoint, i only got a double-check and not like get stopped. thanks for the prayers (: so to conclude my journey in the bus, sleep. haha i slept almost the whole way through. and we reached singapore at like erm 7pm plus? and 8pm+ at yishun building. we were supposed to have "net" there. but in the end, because it was too late. we went to eat at northpoint and went back to like fellowship and play. and that's when all the wacky re-enactment of cheers began! hilarious! :D

i really enjoyed this youth camp! :D it's one that i TRIED playing the games. and mixing around haha. :D so yay! :D and this marks the end of my posts for youth camp! finally! :D

youth camp - day 4!

day 4 was pretty tiring. we woke up earlyearly. i didn't really feel good though. we wore our clothes that were meant to throw away down to service. (for games later) went down for breakfast and devotions as usual. (: i think this was the devotions where we were asked how we felt about the youth camp. i think it's very tiring, and like too packed up with events. yea. very. breakfast nothing much unusual, the food was pretty much the same. so funny! there was this like shop with a buzzer a little infront of it. like a sensor thing. on the fifth floor (where we have our breakfast) then marcus went there, and it like kept ringing. it's almost similar to the lift bell! when the lift comes it will ring. THEN we finally realised that! and he kept doing it! hahahaha! the people around keep turning and turning to see which lift had arrived. omgosh! funny! super funny! (this is the day, when exciting things happened, but i didn't write it down, oops)

i went back to take an extra shirt and like a small towel. to clean up later after the games. but apparently, i was clean enough, to get on the bus. service. we had service. this time becky fouquier preached to us. pastor jude preached to the leaders. she's a great preacher. and even though she stuttered during the past. God has healed her completely. now she's able to talk to like big crowds. (: and afterwards, it's lunch. ate quickly. before we set out to titwangsa? or something. the name of the stadium. haha funny. we finally reached! and we waited there, while waiting, we took pictures. and there was a like racing area for small toy cars, where the people controlled the cars from above. i seriously tried playing the games this year. but i think i didn't really play it that well.

there was 5 stations. the first one was like the nanny game. and we need babies, nannies and monkeys. the babies are the ones with trash bags and they need to catch like the sandwiches. while the nanny prepares the sandwich with diluted tomato sauce, mayo and bread. i was the monkey. it was so digusting, getting splatted by those sandwiches, preventing them from entering like the trash bags. i couldn't like really defend well. oops. (i'll go in random order) (: another one is that we have a small guy in between and we must like form a circle and protect the guy from getting wet. and at the same time we also must like find some card on the floor. and instead of water bombs, it was like blue dye bombs. and like one pack went into my ear. and my fingers were blue. haha! and the other game was tug of war. (something like that) we won isaac ker's group haha! but lost to my younger brother's group. and shirgin like collected alot of like the balls and noodles, etc. i didn't play this, because - you should know why. francel of course have more strength than me hahaha. :D and the other game was 'Uncle, I want to da bao!' andand we had to pour coffee power in our mouths, pour water and like gurgle in our mouth to like 'stir' it. and we had to spit it out in cups. put on our heads. and like walk towards the da bao station and pour it in bags and tie them and throw them into a bucket. someone will be holding the bucket, and trying to catch the bags of coffee. it was so disgusting can! our group got first for this! :D the last game was earth ball. but we didn't get to play it. the last of the last game was the like "major" game. where we have to do different sections. the lightest would be the flag bearer. so i was the flag bearer, and all i had to do was get carried around, haha. there was this maths station, stop tepi? argh, army stuff. eat marshmellows with flies inside. eww. the flies is not part of it actually. and like carry some bucket without hands. and at the end, shampoo your hair and get as much foam. but i was the lightest, so i didn't do anything lol. XD

we went back to the hotel. and there was like a jam along the way. so we arrived back late. quickly showered. ate dinner late. and the service was also like delayed. this was the last night sermon. and the altar call for like the gift of the Holy Spirit. I remembered i received it on my first youth camp, where pastor jude was the one preaching too. :D after the sermon, we had like a small little time of testimony with like our own region. and just share what God has done for you during the camp la. (: then quite late liao, but we walked back in regions. showered. and it's the last night. so we stayed up etc etc. but i was really tired this whole camp, so i didn't play with them. i ate (: and talked, and packed stuff. i was like having signs of a fever at like 3am already. it was soooo cold. i wore my jacket plus like 3 layers of blanket. it was SO cold. i felt that i didn't have enough sleep in the end. i had like headache and all. it was bad.

oh. since wednesday post is so full plus long. i am going to include the funny experience here. we were all at mengfei's room playing. (his room is super cool!) so i was like excited. i ran back to get my camera, and then ran back to his room. not knowing his room was like locked. then i ran to the room next to it, and the hatch was like put out, and the door was open. i chionged in with jenna and jaime behind me. and then it was the wrong room! so embarrassing!! my brother, asriel and a 3/4 guy just like stared at me. and i was like sorry sorry wrong room. and like rushed out. and we went to the real mengfei's room in the end. haha. super paiseh! :/ haha.

yay, now all i'm left is day 5, the last day! :D

youth camp - day 3!

today, we had sessions at bejaya. so we woke up earlier, had breakfast and devotions. it all delayed to quite late. so we reached berjaya late. we had combined service. by the time we reached there, worship was over. so we just sat in. well, to tell you the truth. i was like going to sleep in the service. then there was a break in between, so i went to the toilet, and the 3 to 6 children were like in a queue, so cute! went back for another service, pastor jude fouquier's. i was awake at the beginning, then i started to doze off. :x oh man, it's seriously tiring. :x

we later assembled outside the main hall. then we decide where to go and all, before leaving. and i went to play with jonan, lydia, etc. they're so adorable! and how excited they were to take a photo! cute! some went to like BB plaza? i went to berjaya. (: i wanted to sit the roller coaster, but there was not enough time to do so. so i went shopping for stuff. the things there are not like nice.. but i managed to get a jacket at F.O.S! yay! at like 39 ringgit only! i wanted to get like shirts but .. yea, not enough time, so nevermind :D and i got like a present for charissa at some gift shop there. i didn't try the starbucks there. i wanted to get one, like one of the things i need to do in malaysia, i didn't ): it's a pity. we went there and ate baskin robbins' ice cream. there was this bubble gum flavour, it tastes okay, but quite sweet.

super hilarious! lester have this walkie-talkie that can connect into other people's channel. then he connected into one, and there's this 2 malay ladies talking in malay. then he started talking into it. and like talk all sorts of rubbish, some malay words too? and james went to take it and start saying: "This is James o' cornor, if you are listening to this, you're the resistance... etc.etc. we are going to attack in half an hours time..." ! hahahahahaha!! SUPER FUNNY! we didn't really do much shopping. afterwards, we made our way to like 7 eleven there (infront of the hotel), to wait for the rest, because we splitted up.

we went back to the hotel to clean up. then we had NERF wars! woohoo! btw, i'm going to get a NERF. woohoo, so cool! i was the video-grapher for the day, if there's such a word. but it was so fun, although there were lots of complains. and my brother was the hostage. haha! before that the guys were all shooting into esther chee's room. and we were all dodging and trying to close the door. haha! we went back to our rooms, prepared ourselves. then we left for dinner at some roadside store. esther chee said she was like some single mother taking care of like 30+ youths. haha! on our way, there was one lady who walked pass us, called us stupid tourists. :O we went to eat there, the food was okay la, considering almost all was seafood. (and i can't eat most of them) so.. and the coke was super diluted. disgusting.. then this guy came with his guitar and started playing. (for donation of course) but it was good. and he sang i'm yours. and everyone started cheering la. later we walked to secret recipe. i got like a chocolate brownie to bring back and eat. nicenice (:

went back to the hotel, showered. went around talking, eating. i can't remember what exactly happened, so... ya. i guess we went to sleep. (:

i think this was the day when francel called the wrong number! hahai said i was staying next to her, but rachel yeo was also staying next to her. the other side. and i think it was quite noisy or something. don't know from me or her. but francel called rachyeo's room and asked whether is this rachel (thinking its me) and she says yes! omgosh. then she told her not to make too much noise, etc. and the next day francel came to me asking whether she called me and i say no. hilarious! both rachels next to her! hahaha!

youth camp - day 2!

woke up quite early today. although the lack of sleep caused me to feel unwell. and jenna's alarm clock was really loud! haha! i guess that's what alarms are for! washed up, packed stuff and went for devotions. we sat on the floor again because of the lack of chairs and tables. after devotion, we went down to get our breakfast. the food was okay, but they served like almost the same thing for every day. Besides, who would want to eat nasi lemak or fried rice early in the morning?!

sessions. i seriously love pastor jude's preaching. alot of them spoke to me. and his sessions are of course fun too. haha, he made people go up and dance. our assistant group leader! this time we sat in our region. Ipooood. haha! pastor jude crack people up too! like funny. really.

we had lunch (with group). (: dessert. i think this was the lunch that i spilled almond syrup on my badge. haha then it had like this smurge effect. LOL. beware of ants. games. we went to berjaya times square for amazing race. well, its not really a good thing, because firstly, we aren't allowed to run. secondly, there were restrictions, and we can't make alot of noise/scream/cheer. thirdly, we aren't allowed to like wave our flags. i can't exactly remember all the stations, but i'll try. we must find like articles with our group name on it. they scattered like alot of articles in the middle of the hall. so we need to like chiong find, and chiong out. (:

firstly, we must solve clues and go to the place. one was wendy's, we had to take picture of like alphabets from store signs to form the word elevate. then another was the supermarket thingy, where we have to go around to like to find the products and get the prices, then use the prices to solve a math question. hardddd. there's a team that got stuck there and was last in place. we had to go to this shopaholic shop, we must like do the action, and from the first person to the last. and i was, unfortunately the last. and the word was caning, then i was guessing baseball, basketball and all. someone like whispered the answer to me, but i couldn't hear hahaha. and was like continuously smacked by a fly swatter. haha. another was oh oh! the rap/song, we had to make a cheer with out employer's name, berjaya and muthu's money. ours was stanley take muthu's money, went to berjaya and spent it all, alllllllll! x2 (Lonely tune) I will post it up if i have time. (:
we had to find like key words in a stack of newspaper. we had to wait a while, because we got chased out by the security guard, for like large gatherings/rioting, or something. haha!

i think that's all. then we like chiong back to federal, some groups were still walking. i guess they didn't know they were the last few teams. we ran ahead of them, through shortcuts, and then to federal! not so good, but still not the last. 17th out of 20th! :D then to stall time, they do some gain-extra-points-with-cheers thingy. and we were already dead beat la. no strength. then we went back to radius. for clean up. the time we had was so short.

went back, showered. pack everything for service. and met marcus, went down to meet the team. usual stuff. walked to federal. ate dinner. dessert of course :D and went for service. this time, pastor jude taught us a new dance thing. but we couldn't see it, so many tall people in front haha. and he asked us all to go up and dance. first team, wins points. but that's just a scam. haha kidding. the band played some praise songs, and we went around dancing. and form this chain thingy. oh my. i was running, then someone stepped on my slippers, then i turned around to get it. then like this whole group of people come chionging at me. scary! haha. was like ducking and all. service was good as usual, when i saw good, i truly mean it, it was good! :D

after service, we went back to radius. i think i went back with charlene, marcus and francel this time. oops. but we like followed the crowd. because almost the whole street was like flooded with people from our church. haha. went back to the room. the lift was jammed as usual. and it was very noisy, too much screamings. haha! i wanted to like write stuff, again. but we all had to sleep. the schedule was so tight. didn't really have a good sleep though. but air-con, i like (:

youth camp - day 1!

woke up early in the morning. prepared all that is needed to be prepared. and left for the yishun building! took photos. and waited for the bus. BUS C!

the journey on the bus, most of the times, i slept. or played guess the song with seraphine. hahah. bryan went around taking pictures of people sleeping with his camera! argh! we stopped for lunch and various places, etc. haha, i bought alot of food, sort of. (: and yong peng is like renovated! but it's still dirty though.. the toilet is BAD!

we finally reached radius, at quite a late time. so we had to wait for the lift, that's so packed! i went up to our room, 1111! haha. roommates: charlene, charissa and jenna. (: got like my stuff ready, then like chiong down to meet the rest to walk together to federal. (15 min walk) hahaha, we saw weird things. haha.

went to sit with our groups for sessions, meals and whatever you name it. i guess its for the bonding time. (: ate with our group, the first night, we sat on the stage, because there wasn't any table for us. the queue was very long. but we chose the shorter queue, i don't know why so many people wanted to queue at the long one. hmm.. ._. then we went to the main room for session.

the session was really really good! pastor jude was really good la! all i can say that his message was really relevant. it seriously like spoke to me alot. (: and i enjoyed it very very much. he should like come every year! :D ♥ pastor jude's sermons. (:

walked back with our group. i think some times, me, marcus and francel like went home with the region, like charlene. haha oops. :x when back to the hotel, unpacked. tried to complete stuff, but seriously, i was too tired to even like think. went to sleep. it was cold, but nice can. air-con! :D

the day was fruitful. but time flew past fast. hahahah!
day 2 will be coming up soon! :D

this is my 200th post!
so, yay! haha :D
and it's my older brother's o'levels chinese. (:

today's our class outing. about half the class went to J8 with ms lim and her sister. the others had their reasons, i guess. cca? :) we went to eat macs before watching the movie. then we didn't watch the movie, and went to the arcade. haha, daytona was fun and so was the super ball thingy and the basketball shooting. the ball will bounce back, oh my scary. me,kaiqian,juliana,juline later went to walk around to see some shops, before heading back to meet the people who watched the movie. i bought a new pink pilot g-tec. ): my money. ): had fun and lots of blisters too.

ms lim treated us ice-cream. which never in my life or maybe this year, tasted so good. maybe i never really liked vanilla ice cream that much. or maybe i was thirsty.. oh well, we went to the arcade later and played a few more games. there was this basketball thingy game, it was so short and the guys kept doing slam dunks. hello, its so near. -.- took the train home. i didn't go juliana and juline's house to see their new-born hamsters because i was so tired. i went home to rest. i need to catch up on my sleep! too much late nights already.

i'm all hyped up for the holidays! and what's installed for me (: i'm not going to let this one month of holidays go to waste. the weekends last week was a good start for the holidays! so fun! :D i'm excited! :D

yesterday was the net outreach - baking. (:
we baked chocolate chip cookies.
in the end, 3 nets combined.
and ian, lester, reuel and justin were playing with their nerf guns.
bro. micheal came, and he joined in -.-
well, we talked while waiting for the cookies to bake.
the cookies were yummy. (:
something really funny happened,
ezabella's friend came to the door selling ice-cream.
then we crowd around the door, claiming we are her siblings.
then elizabeth came and said she was the real sibling.
andand rachelyeo said she was her .. distant.. sibling.
and reuel said he was adopted! LOL HAHA.

today was HOTDOG HOLOCAUST!
oh my, it was busy and tiring. but fun!

i arrived at 2.50pm+ to go help out with some cleaning stuff. but was informed that i do not need to come so early actually, so i went back to eat before coming down again. then the checking of toilets and stuff was fast. so people came and recruited people to help cook hotdogs. in the end, i ended up helping to cook the hotdogs. (: it was fun! my job was to go rounds from the toilet to the 'cooking room', collecting water from the toilet to defrost the hotdogs. helped to unpack the hotdogs from their packaging. it was freezing, too much ice.

you would never know what happened inside. muahaha. how the hotdogs were handled. how the mineral water came along. stuff like that. hahaha. 'behind the scene' stuff. hilarious! there was this sort of agreement that james, j.l, jason (i think) would shave their hair bald if there were 600 people. and someone came to the cooking room and counted the number of people inside twice. hahaha.

the hotdogs were brought in the sanctuary. where all the contestants were. and people started stuffing themselves with hotdogs. and some even drank the secret ingredient directly from the cup. which consists of tobasco sauce, wasabi, brown food colouring? mixed together = eww. and we watched them, waiting for people to puke. :x and we were standing on chairs behind to witness the event, cos too many people were standing up. i was trying to gain my balance and accidentally elbowed the lights off. (not the whole room, one part). whew. XD

after all the action, we cleaned up. and its our region's duty for clean up this week ): the heaviest team got like few boxes of pizza for their dinner la! so good, and i cleant after them. hahaha. XD
there were many boxes of extra hotdogs! so they placed outside for all to eat. after a while, it all disappeared. lol. i wanted more (: although there were alot of people who touched those hotdogs already..

the games were not fun at all!

it was awesome.
the food was awesome.
what happened earlier before it was NOT awesome.
i am not going to say what.

its too embarrassing to be up here.
it was one day before seraphine's birthday.
we went to her house to give her a surprise.
its fun to plan surprises. funfunfun! :D

serious the food at net rally was nice.
the 'hashballs' was nice.
there was jap chicken, toast, lasagne, desert, mushroom soup, salad and various drinks.
the games were fun too! serious.
r1n2 comes up with good games okay.
we played who am i, where names of other people are stuck on our backs.
and we go around asking ppl to describe.
haha, it was quite obvious with all the clues given. XD
oops. then we played whacko.
i tell you, whacko is a nice game!
really, funfun! haha.
then we had a time of worship, sharing.
and the intro of the new nets, leaders and some other announcements.
hahaha. :D
